Hello and welcome to RamieBaby Designs!
My name is Erika, I live in Northern California with my husband Jonny and my daughter
Ramie - the inspiration behind RamieBaby Designs.
I am a teacher for the Deaf by day and a work at home mom by night, as well as a
cloth diapering, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, babywearing mama for every possible
moment that I can spend with my baby.
I'd always dreamt of having a little girl to outfit in ribbons and threads of my
own design. Once Jonny announced that the wriggly baby I'd given birth to in March
of this year was a girl, my dreams became a reality! I dragged out my sewing machine
shortly after we returned home from the hospital with little Ramie, and I've been
sewing up a storm ever since!
Everything in my Hyena Cart (except for the occasional Snappi) is handmade with
the utmost attention to detail. I only sell items that I would be proud to put onto
my child - and that will hold up to many, many washings. Because I work both outside,
as well as in the home, I offer mostly in-stock items here, along with some semi-customs
when I have the time. If you'd like a custom design or have something special in
